MAY I INSTALL A CREW CAB MYSELF?

No, Snoeks Crew Cabs are only installed by our certified conversion partners. You can order a Crew Cab in our configurator or contact one of our conversion partners directly.

MAY SOMEONE INSTALL A SECOND-HAND CREW CAB?

No, it is not permitted to install a second-hand (used) Crew Cab into another vehicle. EU legislation does not permit this.

WHAT IS THE STATUS OF MY CONVERSION?

HOW CAN I ORDER WITHOUT LOGIN DETAILS?

Our service partners only have access to the portal.

You do not need login details to order separate parts and Crew Cab installations.

CAN I ORDER MULTIPLE CREW CABS?

After the configuration you can place your Crew Cab in the shopping cart. In the shopping cart you have the option to change the quantities if you want to receive exactly the same Crew Cab or you can duplicate the Crew Cab (the icon with 2 documents) and then provide each Crew Cab with a unique order reference.

HOW CAN I REGISTER SOMEONE FOR A TRAINING?

QUESTIONS REGARDING WARRANTY

HOW LONG IS THE WARRANTY ON MY CREW CAB?

You have a 2 year warranty on material and production errors from the invoice date of the conversion or delivery of the goods.

HOW CAN I SUBMIT A WARRANTY REQUEST?

If a product breaks during the warranty period, you are entitled to a warranty. You can submit the request on the Customer Portal. Note: keep the Bench frame number and the last six positions of the VIN number at hand.

HOW CAN I REQUEST A DUPLICATE COC SECOND STAGE?

You can request this from our homologation department. To do this, please forward the bench frame number and the complete VIN number. The costs for a CoC second phase duplicate are € 150, – excl. VAT. “

THE NUMBER OF SEATS ON MY registration document DO NOT MATCH MY VEHICLE?

If you are in possesion of a Snoeks Crew Cab, you must send the benchframe number and the VIN number to our homologation department, so that they can adjust this.

Do you not have a Snoeks Crew Cab? Please contact the relevant converter or supplier.

HOMOLOGATION

WHAT IS THE WEIGHT OF A CREW CAB?

The net weight gain or loss depends on your base vehicle and trim level chosen. On average, our Crew Cab weights 95 kg to 105 kg for smaller vans (e.g. Peugeot Expert sized vans) and 135 kg to 145 kg for larger vans (e.g. Mercedes-Benz Sprinter sized vans). However, the net weight change may deviate, for example when a B-pillar safety partition is disassembled.

HOW DO I GET A WLTP CALCULATION FOR AN INDIVIDUAL INSPECTION?

If your vehicle equipped with a Snoeks Crew Cab needs to be inspected at an inspection station (this means that it cannot be registered via our European type approval, or via our ‘Approval Change Construction’), then since 2020, you need a WLTP calculation. For this we need the complete VIN number, the license plate (if available), the benchframe number, and a postal address.

If needed in your country, we can send you a WLTP certificate.

MY LICENSE CERTIFICATE CERTIFICATE IS NOT CORRECT?

Contact the converter to have this adjusted. If the converter is not known, fill in the ‘conformity statement request form’ and please send it with the requested attachments to customer support.

I WANT TO EXPORT A CAR WITH A SNOEKS CREW CAB. WHAT DO I NEED FOR THIS?

If the conversion has been correctly processed on the registration (for example, the number of seats is correct), then every EU-member state should accept the license plate from any other EU country. In practice, however, the inspectors ofen ask for additional documents when importing.

If the car has been modified under our second stage type (there should be a Snoeks typeshield with an e4*2007/46*… number), you can request a duplicate from CoC customer support.  If the car has been modified in The Netherlands after registration (there should be a typeshield with a RDW-90….. number), we can issue a conversion statement. This is accepted in many countries, but unfortunately it is not a legal requirement.

Every EU-member state has a different system in place. For example, if the car is going to France, you will always have to request an individual inspection (RTI) at the DRIRE. Approval based on a so-called CNIT is supported by Snoeks.

For all France car manufacturers we charge 300 euros excl. VAT for 2nd phase CNIT.
For all German car manufacturers we are currently unable to offer a 2nd phase CNIT.

I HEARD ABOUT WLTP, WHAT IS IT?

Since the end of 2020, the WLTP test cycle has replaced the old NEDC test. The WLTP (Worldwide Hamonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure) provides a more realistic insight into the emissions and consumption figures of a vehicle. This also means that a vehicle will consume and emit more when it gets heavier. If your vehicle is converted with a Snoeks Crew Cab after September 2019, Snoeks Automotive has already performed this recalculation for you.
