Snoeks Automotive was founded by Matthijs Snoeks Senior in Haarlem, The Netherlands. In the early years of the company, the activities of Snoeks consisted of the production of exhaust pipes for Volkswagen Beetles and frames for commercial vehicle benches. Soon after, the activities were extended with the conversion of vehicles.

The vehicle conversion activities expanded rapidly; the customers no longer consisted of only end users and car dealers, but importers also found their way to the vehicle conversion specialists in Zwaanshoek.

As Snoeks is a family business, the knowledge and experience in the line of business has been passed on to the younger (current) generation. This experience in conjunction with their own vision allowed them to extend the activities of Snoeks and make the organization more professional.

Due to the consistent growth, a larger and more efficient production location was absolutely necessary. All the gathered experience was translated into a modern factory in which all logistic processes were optimized

It was evident that there was a need for Snoeks products near the car dealer to convert a vehicle locally. Snoeks selected various companies throughout Europe that could convert vehicles in stock at the dealerships with original Snoeks parts.

The structure of Snoeks has been adjusted. In this new setting the vision has successfully been extended to all European countries. Snoeks offers the optimal solution for conversion requirements to many car manufacturers, importers, car converters and dealers.

To simplify the distribution of the products, Snoeks opened a new distribution center. In this location the internal routing has been optimized. As a result the reliability of our supplies increased even further.

Snoeks becomes premium partner of almost all LCV manufacturers.

With the future in mind, a larger distribution center in close proximity to the older location was essential. Snoeks continues to invest in further increasing quality and volume levels.

Due to the growing market of light commercial vehicles in the United States, Snoeks decided to exploit this opportunity and founded its first sales office based in New Baltimore.

A new record of 80.000 vehicles have been converted with Snoeks products this year.   

The creation of the new Snoeks Headquarters and Innovation Center is a fact. With the new state-of-the-art facilities Snoeks Automotive is ready for the future.
