A label that is becoming the new standard in the automotive industry when it comes to information and prototype security. By obtaining the TISAX label, Snoeks Automotive shows that its organization meets the highest standards in the field of information and prototype security in the automotive industry. Snoeks Automotive presented two sustainable world premieres within its specialty – transportation concepts aimed at the optimal combination of transporting goods and passengers in vans.

In close cooperation with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, the ID. Buzz Cargo e-Flex has been introduced. This flexible transport solution is the perfect match for the electrically powered ID. Buzz Cargo the “International Van of the Year.” The innovative concept has a fully electric operated bench and partition in three positions with which Snoeks has created a breakthrough in the market. This is an excellent example of how Snoeks is able to take “Merged Perfection” to the next level.  The concept was very well received by visitors to the show.

An important theme at the IAA was the transition to hydrogen-powered cars, the Hydrogen Vehicles (HVs). Snoeks also presented a sustainable concept for these vans: the Opel Vivaro e-Hydrogen FlexCab.

In addition to these firsts, Snoeks also showed several of its double cabs within all market segments, both in a fixed and flexible form in models from Volkswagen, Ford, Renault and Iveco.

Ford Motor Company introduced the Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) program in the Netherlands in 2018. Program participants must meet the highest standards of manufacturing, quality control and assembly to obtain and maintain accreditation. Snoeks Automotive was one of the first conversion partners to qualify for this in 2018. Ford recently performed a QVM RE-Audit at Snoeks in Nieuw-Vennep, reconfirming the quality of Snoeks and extending its certification as a QVM partner.

In the week of September 6^th  to 12^th of September, it has been established that tradeshows, conferences and larger automotive gatherings are back in full swing. Snoeks Automotive was present at the “IAA Mobility 2021” at the Holland High Tech Pavilion in Munich, which was visited by 400,000 visitors. This fair was aimed at exploring mobility of the future in the broadest sense of the word, and this was an excellent opportunity for Snoeks to present itself as an innovative partner.

During the IAA Mobility (almost) all OEM brands and OE supplier companies in the field of mobility came together. As at previous IAA events, the stands were magnificent and superb events were organized throughout Munich’s city centre. In addition, there were daily seminars, where the global players in the automotive industry presented their vision of the future in mobility. A wonderful opportunity for us to bring in the latest trends in the field of mobility.

This was a great opportunity to meet current and new partners in person and to gather information. In the short term, a lot will change in the field of mobility, and we believe that this will also affect and be visible in commercial vehicles.

On our stand we showcased “half” a crew kit with our new seat belt reminder system. This concept was ideal to explain to visitors and partners that we are the development partner for innovative interior concepts. In addition, we were able to show specially selected materials designed with a focus on optimal passenger comfort and adding functionality to the vehicle.

We are looking forward to welcoming you at the SoluTrans 2021 in November, and at the 2022 Brussels Motor Show (Autosalon) in January. We hope that these Automotive tradeshows will be as successful as the IAA!

Comfort and passenger safety are guiding factors for Snoeks in the development of our products. It goes without saying that every seat in the double cabin is standard equipped with a safety belt on all the 2nd row seats. In addition, all Snoeks double cabs can be ordered with a seat belt reminder system.

According to the new European ECE-R16 regulations, light commercial vehicles registered after September 1, 2021 have to be equipped with a seat belt reminder system on all seats. Visible and audible signals warn when seat belts are not being used. Snoeks has two variants of the seat belt reminder system available: a fully integrated system for manufacturer-ordered vehicles or semi-integrated for after-fit solutions.

As of May 18, we will move to a new head office with astate-of-the-art innovation center. Although the step is geographically only 2 kilometers, the move is a big step forward for our organization.

For us, this means that we can not only further develop our current product range but also develop new interior concepts for Light Commercial Vehicles. This is the future for Snoeks. Also, we see opportunities to offer our concepts in new markets, such as North America, South America, Russia, and China. The modern facilities that the new building offers us, including our innovation and test center, make it possible for us to realize our future growth ambitions.”
